Capdepera, Manacor, Petra, Sant Llorenç, Sineu, Son Servera, Vilafranca and especially Artà, are finalising the preparations for the "5a Marxa pel Tren de Llevant". This is because next Sunday, October 20, people from all these towns will march to Artà to demand the restart of the railway in the area.
The festive and protest day is promoted once again by the association Joves de Llevant, with the support of the town councils of the affected towns, Servicios Ferroviarios de Mallorca, the GOB and Músics per la Llengua. This year the arrival point will be the renewed station of Artà, where a popular lunch with musical performances will be held.
